Despite my whole family falling down around me with various illnesses, and me being knackered beyond words, I managed to knock out another 55 sit-ups today. As Susie watched she commented about how much easier they look now than they did 16 days ago, so I guess they must be.
It was bound to happen eventually…I forgot to blog my progress yesterday. There’s not a great deal to report. I’m still ahead of the curve having done 55 sit-ups yesterday and 65 today. I’m still feeling a bit sore after the 30 Day Shred thing, so I’m not pushing it too hard. However, it does
I can’t believe I almost forgot to log tonight’s effort, since it was such effort! Following last night’s 100 sit-up break through, I decided I’d take it “easy” tonight. With that in mind, and that there were 180 sit-ups remaining before I cracked the magic 1000 I did…80 (come, now, you didn’t think I would
Yesterday was a good day, with me managing to pull 85 sit-ups out of the bag. Today, though, was a great day. Today I managed 100 sit-ups. It wasn’t a huge event, since it was still done over a number of sets of 10, 15, 20 and 30 reps, but I got to the magic
This evening I have mostly been enjoying the company of friends as I attended a birthday dinner at a pub near Derby. It was a great evening and much fun was had by all. On my way home I remembered…I still hadn’t done any sit-ups! So at 1AM I could be found puffing and panting
I suppose I should post about something other than these bloody sit-ups really! Last year I did the First Aid at Work course — at work, funnily enough. I knew I’d quite enjoy it, but I didn’t realise just how much I would. It was a great 3 days where I learnt a lot but
A relatively quick (hurrah!) 70 done this evening before sitting down for tea. I’m not going to say it was easy, because it wasn’t, but it’s certainly getting easier as the days go by. I’m rather pleased about that, since there’s still a long way to go!
Oh how I love having things to hook my feet under. The return of the corner of the sofa meant I was able to knock out 75 sit-ups this evening. Huzzah! Thanks for people who’ve already donated money towards The Stroke Association (including my mum, yey). If you’re feeling flush (don’t tell the PM for
Just about managed to do 60 this evening. I’m home alone at the in-laws’ house and they don’t have anything to hook my feet under. Yesterday Susie provided the necessary anchorage but I didn’t have that luxury tonight, which made it all the more difficult. Still, I managed them. I’m sorry but you only have
As planned I managed to do 60 sit-ups this evening in the in-laws’ house. Broken through the 400 mark. Woo!
