Two Fat Men do 20,000 Sit-ups in 2011, day 6

Managed to do a set of 20 after I got up this morning.  I’m going to try to do another 50 tonight, but I’m going to the gym after work so walking may be tricky (I was going to go yesterday but didn’t get much sleep so went home for an early night instead). Update:

Two Fat Men do 20,000 Sit-ups in 2011, day 4

Another 60 done today, and with bigger “sets” too.  It’s getting a little easier to stick at it, and I remain ahead of the curve.  Tomorrow is the first day back in the gym, so that could get interesting! Two Fat Men do 20,000 Sit-ups in 2011, day 1

30 sit-ups done. Witnessed by Susie. Also, Susie managed 30 too, witnessed by me.  Just 19,970 to go! Another 25 at 02:04.  That’s today’s quota already reached.  If I’m not keeled over in agony when I wake up, I’ll try to get some more done. And another 25 from Susie at 02:17.  We really should

2011: Looking forward to looking back

This is one of those blog entries that I’m not really sure how to start.  I’ve seen at least three comedians recently come onto the stage and say something similar, and it seems to work out for them, so maybe I’ll give that a go.  The thing is, they tend to then incorporate some banter

Some videos

Just thought I’d drop a few links in to today’s videos. Let’s start with a welcome surprise from the Nottingham School of Samba, who were marching through Nottingham today.  Apologies about the shocking sound: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bzp0ulWE4ZY Then the kids, despite being a bloody nightmare today, had a ride on a train ride thing in the square:

The “Fair” in Fairy

Hats off to Fairy.  Remember the Pampers UNICEF ad? Whether they realised it or not, Pampers were holding children in under-developed countries hostage.  They were saying that the public should pay the ransom of 1 pack of nappies per hostage.  That, frankly, annoys the fuck out of me. But Fairy have come along with their

On a lighter note

I feel a bit bad that the first ever blog post on my shiny new blog is about hatred and the destruction of humanity.  So in order to strike a balance, why not watch this video of Alfie?  It’s mostly cute, with added hilarity right at the end. Alfie being hilarious
